Ecoplastic planks and posts are made of extruded HDPE or High-Density Polyethelyne. This is plastic from packaging waste, drinks bottles and silage wrap. It is cleaned, granulated and then moulded into the shapes from which we build our outdoor furniture and range of landscaping products.

No. Ecoplastic products do not rot, splinter or break easily. It is UV-stable, resistant to salts and acids and will not grow algae or moss. As such, once installed, Ecoplastic requires little or no maintenance and lasts for many years longer than wood.

Ecoplastic requires only an occasional wash with a power-hose to keep it looking good-as-new!

To date, Ecoplastic has been used by Ecoplastic Recycling Ltd. for garden furniture, street furniture, fencing, decking, stabling, pathways, signposting, play equipment, storage boxes, horsewalkers, litter bins, pathway edging, marine and ground stabilization systems and road safety, and we are still developing the product and applying it in new and exciting ways.
