How is Ecoplastic different from Wood?

Does Ecoplastic require maintenance?

Ecoplastic products do not rot, splinter or break easily. It is UV-stable, resistant to salts and acids and will not grow algae or moss. As such, once installed, Ecoplastic requires little or no maintenance and lasts for many years longer than wood.

How can I use Ecoplastic?

To date, Ecoplastic has been used by Ecoplastic Recycling Ltd. for garden furniture, street furniture, fencing, decking, stabling, pathways, signposting, play equipment, storage boxes, horsewalkers, litter bins, pathway edging, marine and ground stabilization systems and road safety, and we are still developing the product and applying it in new and exciting ways to the world around us.

What is Ecoplastic made of?

Ecoplastic planks and posts are made of extruded High Molecular Polyethylene. This is plastic from packaging waste, drinks bottles and silage wrap. It is cleaned, granulated and then moulded into the shapes from which we build our outdoor furniture or stabling.
