Ecoplastic Partners with The Ulster Wildlife Trust

Ecoplastic's durable and rot-proof garden furniture and boards have always been hugely popular in parks and gardens throughout Ireland. But they have a lesser-known quality of being inert in water so, unlike wood, they require no preservation treatments.

This is especially beneficial in boardwalk, bridging and similar projects in wetlands, meadows and bogs as it avoids and leakage of possibly harmful chemicals into environmental sensitive sites. Ecoplastic has maintained a commitment throughout the years to working in concert with bodies that hold environmental preservation as one of their central tenants.

To that end, Ecoplastic has recently become a partner with one of the UK's most well-respected nature conservancy charities, The Ulster Wildlife Trust . They are passionate about the vital role local people have to play in securing a healthy future for our environment. Without a biodiverse environment, with healthy ecosystems and a wide range of species and habitats, we are all under threat - people and wildlife. They believe in taking local nature conservation action to secure the survival of life and importantly, acting locally while thinking globally.

What they do makes a real difference: Managing nature reserves for biodiversity; supporting community environmental action; campaigning for a healthy environment; and teaching people of all ages about nature.

The Wildlife Trusts partnership are made up of 47 Wildlife Trusts from across the UK - making them part of the biggest locally driven movement with collective UK-wide influence. Ecoplastic are excited to strenghten our relationship with such a respected and forward thinking body.
