Belfast City Council in conjunction with Ecoplastic are about to unveil an innovative disabled access planter installation as part of their ongoing development of Musgrave Park in Belfast. As part of the Musgrave Park Therapy Garden, Belfast City Council and Ecoplastic worked together to install the 13m diameter planter, which includes innovative draining and access measures for wheelchair users.
The installation features planting beds and trays raised 300mm off the ground to allow easy access for planting of shrubs and seedlings. Ecoplastic's rot and splinter free material means the planter will last much longer than traditional wood planter, and require zero maintenance during it's lifespan.
